Willie James Thompson was born in Bassfield, Miss to the parents of Vera Adams and Willie Duff Thompson on April 2, 1958, He departed this world on September 17, 2011. He leaves to mourn 1 child his son Terry Brown, his mother Vera Johnson two sisters Louise Russell and Geraldine Thompson of Bogalusa, La. Two brothers Larry Russell of Bassfield, Ms. And Clinton Thompson of Bogalusa, La. six aunts Dorothy J. Holloway, Alice Ruth Adams, Betty C. Adams, Mamie Lee Michael, Linda Adams, Joe Ann Harper and Brenda Adams all of Bassfield, Ms. Two uncles Glenn Adams and Frank Adams of Bassfield, Ms.
A host of nephews and nieces, relatives and friends and a very special friend Lorraine Sowell of 18yrs and a very special mother in law Janie L. Peter and all the kids I raised I love each one of yall stay strong for me cause I'm in your mine and heart okay smile.
Willie was preceded in death by his grandmother Fannie Adams his father Willie D. Thompson two brother Louis Thompson and Henry Thompson. Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 23 at Cook-Richmond 2-7p.m. Funeral Service will be Saturday, Sept. 24, 4 p.m. at Cook-Richmond. Elder Thompson officiating.
