Willie Daniel Taylor was born May 3, 1959 to the late Walter Lee Taylor and Mary Lee Fields Taylor Dunn in Bogalusa, LA.
Willie was an entertaining, lovable father and husband. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, kind words of wisdom and advice to whomever. It did not matter if he knew you for years or just met you, that's just the type of man he was.
He was married to a loving and devote3d wife Sandra Woods-Taylor. He is the father of eleven children whom he loved dearly: Daniel (Lacey) Slaughter of Mobile, AL, Quanesha (Tellis) Williams of Bogalusa, LA, Cedric Forman of Mobile, AL, Tamaria (Lewis) Dunn-Hill of Mobile, AL, Indiya Woods of Varnado, LA, Rayshonda Dunn of North Dakota, Dantwian (Kewuanna) Woods of Bogalusa, LA, Willie Dunn of Grambling, LA, Kenneth Dunn of New Orleans, Mytokiya Woods of Baton Rouge, LA; one sister, Shirley (T.J.) Jordan of McComb, MS, three brothers: James (Sharon) Taylor of Selma, AL, Walter Ray Taylor and Robert Taylor who preceded him in death. One god brother, Paul Tillman, Varnado, LA. He is the grandfather of twelve grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Quinavia, Gwendolyn, Khila, Daniel Jr., Zantonio, Talik, Ta'Lyn, Zoey, Andera, Za'Khya, and Malaysia.
Willie drove 18 wheelers in his early years of life his dad Conel Dunn taught him how to drive trucks and to work hard for his family but to do it with passion and love. Later in life he learned carpentry and continued it until he departed this life.
He leaves to cherish memories his aunts: Delester (Eddie) Richards, Rosetta Mathews, Linda fields, and Ollie Jones all of Varnado, LA, one uncle, Supt. Leslie (Joyce) Fields of Varnado, LA, a special nephew Robert (Twyla) Taylor of Bogalusa, LA and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Walter Lee Taylor, Mary Lee Fields Taylor Dunn, two brother Walter Ray Taylor, Robert Taylor, stepfather Conel Dunn, one son Zantonio woods.
