Willie McGee was born July 27, 1928 to Harrison & Annie Bell Magee in Marion County, Mississippi. He later met and married, Lizzie Ruth Abram and from this union were four children. Willie was a quiet man and he loved his family very much.
Willie served as a cross-country truck driver. And after retirement, he worked as a taxi driver for many years until his health began to fail. His favorite hobbies included playing dominoes with his friends and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory 2 sons: Charles Edward Magee of Bogalusa and Dennis (Trudy) McGee of Huntsville, Al; seven daughters: Linda Kaye Magee and Gladys Magee both of Bogalusa;Willie Francis McGee, St. Louis, MO.; Neeta Christian, Stacey Tribett and Sheila McGee all of Chicago, IL and Monique (Timothy) Joe of
Huntsville, AL. and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Bell Magee and Harrison Magee; a step-mother, Ozzella Fortune Magee, a brother, Lonnie Magee; two sons, Matthew McGee and Willie McGee; a daughter, Rosemary Magee and a grand-daughter, Monique Michelle Magee-Crooks.

Visitation will be Friday,March 2 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. at Cook-Richmond Chapel. Rev. Darrly Self, Officiating.
