Willie Ruth Lewis was born July 12, 1952 to he late Gladys Mark (Richard James) and Qunice Pittman in Tylertown, MS.  She departed this earthly life on August 24, 2022 at her home in Bogalusa, LA.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her children; Tabatha (Delester) Smith, Denson (Leslie) Pittman, Yevone (Stephan) Pigott, and Ivy Lewis, all of Bogalusa, LA, two step-children; Shaffer(Sandie) Curney, Sr. of Anchorage, AK and Shanfie Dillion of Houston, TX, her grandchildren; Stanley (Darieth) Wilks of Dallas, TX, Kayla Pittman (Lawrence) of Baton Rouge, LA, Denson Pittman Jr. of Covington, LA, and Tyrell Pittman, who she helped to raise, of Bogalusa, LA, her step-grandchildren; Jazzmine, JuliAnna, Jozlynn, and Shaffer, Jr Curney all of Anchorage, AK and Koranja Dillon and his siblings of Houston, Tx, great grandchild; Knima Williams of Baton Rouge; step-great grandchildren; Lucca and Carter Curney of Anchorage, Ak, sister Regina (Melvin) Baggett of Bogalusa, LA, her brother; James (Theresa) Pittman of  Bogalusa, LA, her special cousins/friends; Hermine Jackson of Milwaukee, WI, Marie Johnson of Hattiesburg, MS, and Merle Foster of Sandyhook  an abundance  of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who ALL loved her dearly.

She was preceded  in death by her husband, Sheffie Dillon, her parents, Gladys Mark (Richard James) and Quince Pittman and her oldest sister, Francine Roby
