Obituary

To serve to follow to live a christian life, a faithful soldier marches with reverence for man & God.
On the morning of March 28, 2013 the Lord called our beloved Willie Mae Bridges at LSUBMC. She was the only child of Hattie Daniels and Albert Magee of Mobile, Ala. She was born on November 1, 1930. Early in life she united with East Jerusalem later she united at Second Baptist under leadership of Pastor Matthews. Sis. Bridges united with Bethlehem under the leadership of Elder Christopher Matthews.
She came to church when she could and her wheelchair was no hindrance to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Champion Bridges and sister Arletha Smith.
She leaves to cherished her memories one son, Warren (Jeanette) Bridges, two daughters Hattie (Johnny) Dillon and Vanessa Bridges. Six grandchildren Shondrika (Deshone) Dyson, Marion Cotton, LaRhonda St. Amant, Roynes (Dawn) Dural , II, Andrelique (Angela) Dural, Raynis (Jacqueline) Bridges, twenty great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and John Polk. A special cousin, Maetta Hathron, Gussie Davis, niece. A hosts of other relatives and friends
Visitation will be Friday April 12,2013 at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home Chapel from 2-6,Family hour 6-7 Funeral Service April 13,2013 1pm at
Mt.Bethel Baptist
