Wilbur Romarcus Morris was born on April 23, 1970, to the parentage of the late Alcus Pittman Sr. and Elaine Foster Morris in Bogalusa, LA.  Wilbur was educated in the Washington Parish School System and is a graduate of Varnado High School class of 1990 and Delta college of Covington, LA in 1993, with a certificate in Medical Assistance.

Wilbur accepted Christ as his personal savior in 1994 and having a thirst for the word in the same year entered the harper Baptist Seminary.  Wilbur received his Certificate of Christian Training in 1997, English Bible Diploma in 2000, Bachelor's Degree in 2002, Master's Degree in 2004 and Doctorate in 2016.

Wilbur was a faithful member of New Zion MBC under the tutelage of Rev. Doctor L.R. Cotton and was ordained as a deacon in 1999. He accepted his call to preach the word and was ordained under Pastor Cotton.  He remained  at New Zion until he was called to shepherd the Sunflower MBC of Foxworth, MS in 2001.  He served faithfully until his health began to fail and at that time returned to New Zion, where he served until death.  Wilbur served the Second SpringHill District Association in various capacities including Vice Moderator and Usher Board President.

Wilbur was united in matrimony to Cynthia Marie Miller on September 1, 2007. This union was blessed with 8 children and 10 grandchildren.

On May 10, 2025, at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond, La Wilbur Romarcus Morris, at the age of 55, bade farewell to this life.

He leaves to cherish his memory a wife of 18 years, Mrs. Cynthia Marie Miller Morris; mother Elaine Foster; mother-in-law Evelyn Miller; eight children; Raven Morris, Za'Cheon Morris, Jasmine Sandifer, Christopher Holmes, Jacque Carrier, Michael Packard, Victoria and Casondra Miller;  ten grandchildren: Jade Kingston, tate, Michael Jr, Mason Mailkah, Malaya, Kayden, Tori and Maliq; six siblings:  MacAnthony Foster, Deborah (Jerry) Young, Brandi (Issac Sr) Hichman, Alcus (Tessie) Pittman, and Arnold (Talonda) Pittman, Titus (Keisha) PIttman, Herbert V. Miller, Toyna Scott, Barry Miller, Marvessik (Angelle) MIller, and Jessica Miller; bonus daughter, JaJuan Robinson and best friend, Vanessa Sheridan, two godbrothers; Glen Duane and Rowmara  Cotton,and two god children; Quenterius Peters and maya Foster, and host of aunts, uncles , nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Alcus Sr. and Loretta Pittman, father-in-law He4rbert V. Miller, brother, Zachery Morris and godmother Dorothy Cotton.
