Walter Beck, Jr. age 69, was born on December 28, 1945. He departed this life into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 16, 2015 at home in Bogalusa. Walter was a faithful and life long member of Second Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Stella of 46 years and into this union was born Jacqueline Beck and Todsha Beck of OK; five grandchildren: Destiny, La-Traveen, Trinity, LaTajdrion and Jazmine Beck of OK; one great-grandchild, Anasia Beck of OK, four godchildren: Tina Patterson of Washington, Cary Bickham and Felicia Harrell of OK, Leneisha Jefferson of Bogalusa, two brothers, Alvin (Bobbie) Beck of Bogalusa and John (Linda) Beck of Purvis, MS; two sisters, Alvina (Donald) Nichols of Varnado and Gloria Jean (James) McNair of Purvis, MS.

Walter was preceded in death by his mother, Mazie Arnell Collins, his father, Walter Beck, Sr, sister, Pauline Arnell Beck-Brown and grandson, Isaiah Beck.

Walter will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Visitations will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 2pm – 5pm at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 11:00 am at Second Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. D. Self, officiating. Interment, Bogalusa Cemetery.
