Sister Vernabel Dillon Brock a native of Walthall County Mississippi was born December 25, 1925 to the late Vernon and Cornellia Dillon. She was a resident of Bogalusa, La. And a faithful member of Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Raymond Mims.
Sister Brock married The Late Frank Brock on August 2, 1946 and through this union 3 sons and 1 daughter were born: Bryan Keith Brock of Bogalusa, La. Ginger Ann Brock Henderson of Baton Rouge, La. Frank Charles Brock of El Paso, Tx.and the Late Donnie Gayle Brock.
Sister Brock also leaves to mourn; grandchildren Andreal Bates and Aniyah Brock, 2 great grandchildren Allecia and Jeneea Bates, 1 great great grandchild Ashton Turner, 1 special nephew Vermon (Rev. Dr. Gloria) Dillon, and a host of other nephews, neices, relatives and friends.
Sister Brock was preceded in death by three brothers: Willie Dillon, Robert Dillon, and Jessie James Dillon.
Funeral Service will be July 2, 2011 at Cook-Richmond Chapel.
