Valarie Ann Johnson was born August 9, 1957 to the proud parents of Jessie and Gloria Terrell in Bogalusa, LA. She passed away on October 24, 2016 at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Franklinton, LA.

Valarie was educated in the Bogalusa City Schools. She graduated from Bogalusa High. After graduation she worked at Crown Zellerbach. She was also a representative for General Dynamics. She later married and moved to California then moved back to Bogalusa after her the passing of her husband. She continued her education. With determination she received her B.A. Degree in Medical Assistance.

Valarie was a faithful Jehovah Witness, she believed in a life thereafter, she held to His promise, also she suffered but she knew Jehovah God was there, one day this would all be over, in a land where there would be no more pain or suffering, no heartache. she started in her early life striving and looking forward to this day.

She leaves fond memories to her devoted, faithful husband, Larry Johnson; sisters: Myra Keil and Kimberly (Walter) Hooks; brothers: Andrea (Betty) Powell and Michael Terrell; uncles: Richard (Waver) Keil and Larry Keil; aunts: Chinese Peters, Barbara (Henry0 Chatmon and Ruth Platter; mother-in-law, Aristine Johnson; brothers-in-law: Willie Alton (Annie Bell) Johnson, Robert Earl Johnson and Alton Johnson, Jr; sisters-in-law: Williestine Watson, Earnestine Brister, Emma Jean Gatlin and Angela (Coby) Clark and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.
