I fought a good fight, I finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. II Timothy 4:7-8
T.S. Peters transitioned this life on July 21, 2025, peacefully at home with close family. He was born to the later Kathline Mingo and T. Man Peters on September 10, 1937.
For many years, T.S. worked in the logging industry until he was overcome by a back injury. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars, spending time with his family, watching his favorite TV Show, which was Wrestling (WWE) and most of all he loved his hot black coffee.
He was a member of St. Mary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Frank Baker in Livingston, Louisiana.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Three daughters; Sharon Grisby of Bogalusa, Louisiana, Anita Palmer of Independence, Louisiana and Mae Anderson of New Orleans, Louisiana. One son: Kenny Walker of Bogalusa Louisiana. Three sisters: Ora Lee Abram of New Orleans, Louisiana, Claretta Robinson of Angie, Louisiana and Weddie Brister of Louisiana. Six grandchildren: LaQuinta Pool, Kenneth Self, Lakeisha Bridgewater, Shanequia Allen, Fredrick Allen, Jessica Fair, Eight Great- Grandchild, and Two Great Great Grandchildren. Two Special Friends; James and Toby Magee. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is proceeded in death by his parents: Kathline Mingo and T-Man Peters; His Wife: Everlean Peters, Grandsons: Lavaurisa Grisby, Dashain Moore, Granddaughter: Kalisha Moore; Brothers: Ullies Peters, FA MIngo, Arthur Mingo, Ozella Mingo,Walter Peters, T.A. Peters, Sisters: Dorothy Peters, Mazie McGowan, and Mattie Brister
