Travis was born on January 29th 1978 in Independence LA; He departed this life on August 25, 2018 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.

Travis was a very hard worker and a great provider.  He has been a truck driver for the last 19 years of his life.  He revolved his life around the things that meant the most to him; his children, mother, and his life long dream job as a Truck Driver.  Nothing meant more to him than his family and friends.

Travis is survived by his Parents: Lynda Lawler and  William Ramshur; 4 children, Travis D. Bowen, Trenton D. Vice, Macayla L. Vice, Gia Blackwell.
1 grandchild; Mackenzie Grace Bowen. 2 sisters; Jennifer Nelson of Bogalusa LA and Stacey M. Tartt of SaraLand Alabama. 6 aunts; Patricia (Joe) Price of Eastonville,MS Kathy McNelly of Janesville, Wisconsin; Cynthia (David) Stroda of Herrington Kansas, Betty Marie(Billy) Briggs of Picayune MS; Jerri (Craig) Turan of Saucier, MS; Viginia Ann Of Picayune MS. 4 uncles; James "JD" (Jan) Hancock of Saucier, MS; Dennis (Tiffany) Hancock of Herrington KS, Monroe (Betty) Ramshur of Ackerman MS, and Jimmy (Mariam) Ramshur of Texas.


Travis was preceded in death by a daughter; Maria N. Vice; his maternal grandmother Mary Hancock; his paternal grandmother and grandfather; Manual and Mary Ramshur.
