Thomas Darnell Turner was born to Lubertha Harris Turner, and the late Johnny Allen Turner on May 14, 1969 in Bogalusa, La. He departed this life on March 29, 2013 in Bogalusa, La.
As a child he joined the Second Missionary Baptist Church. He later joined the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Thomas was also a member of Bogalusa Prayer Band.
Thomas was a graduate of Bogalusa High School Class of 1987. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1988 and Honorably discharged in 1995. He united in Holy Matrimony with Erica Magee May 11, 1996. Three children were born to this union.Thomas was very athletic playing baseball, basketball, and football. As a child he played with the Richardson town A's little league and later became a little league coach for the Braves. His presence will be forever missed. Thomas loved his family and friendsHe is survived by his dedicated, loving mother Lubertha H. Turner Keller, 5 daughters Meagan Turner, Brooke Ramsey, Alisha Turner, Kashmere Scott, and Tiara Turner. 3 sons Thomyan Turner, Thomas Turner, and Thomas Magee: 2 children he raised Darrion Moss and Tamira Moss. 3 sisters Tonya M. Turner (Lloyd), Keisha (Arin) Williams, and Crystal (Quincy) Young. 3 brothers Anthony J. (Quovatus) Turner, Micheal (Christie) O'ree, and Curtis Moss II. Thomas loved his neices & nephews as his children Chiantia; Annekeyara, Alexis, Anthony Jr, Ariel, Chance, Tyja Brown; Turner.One-grandchild L.J. Ramsey, step-mother Curtistine Turner. Uncles, Billy (Louise) Francis, Willie (Carla) Jenkins, Andre (Maria) Gatlin. Aunts Mary (Charles) Hawthorne, Ruth Lewis, Ruby Manning, and Mary (Grover) Maxwell. Very special friend, Naturcha James. Best friends Eric Brister and Donald Sampson, Jr. Godsisters, Monica Oree and Kashondra Moses.A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Turner, step-father who raised him George Keller. Grandparents Rosie F. Harris, Monroe Jenkins. Mary Turner and Johnny B. Turner. Aunts, Patricia Barnes, Anna L. Jusice.
