He was married to Rosemary Young Wilson of Bogalusa, LA.

He was preceded in death by his five sisters, Kathy Wilson, Bernice Forrest, Mary Levi, Elexzine Warren all of Bogalusa, LA, Ozzie Lee Williams of Norfolk, NE.

He leaves to mourn his death, his loving wife, Rosemary Young Wilson, 2 sisters Valerie Bridges, Las Vegas, NV and Clematine Wilson, Lincoln, NE. Three brothers Clayton Wilson, Thomas Wilson of  Bogalusa, LA, A.C. Wilson of LaCombe, LA. Daughter Samatha Lane, grandsons Wendell and Vandross Callahan. Brother- In-Law Johnny Young of  Bogalusa, LA. And a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.
