I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith. Now there is in store
for me the crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—
and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. II Timothy 4: 7,8
Tarele "MeMe" Mignon Wallace-Gallo departed this life on July 20, 2013
at her home at the tender age of 40 years old.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois to Jacqueline and Melvin Wallace on
October 21, 1972.
Meme graduated from Hirsch High School and after several years
she moved to Bogalusa, Louisiana
to be near her grandmother, Elizabeth Young and other family members.
While in Bogalusa, Louisiana she furthered her education by
attending and graduating from Delta College
as a Certified Nurse's Assistant.
While in Bogalusa she met and married David Gallo on
September 3, 2000. She joined and was baptized at
First Church of God In Christ.
Where she was a faithful, dedicated, and active member.
They were devoted to raising Marshon, La'Sherman and Brianna and
they eventually became surrogate parents to many children needing them.
MeMe enjoyed writing poems, taking care of her family and helping
others in any way that she could.
People that knew MeMe knew that she would do anything for you
out of the goodness of
her heart without ever looking or asking for anything in return.
Even to the end of her life she was still trying to be there for everyone,
even in her hospital bed. In addition to raising her three children she was
also a mother to any child that needed her love.
MeMe had a pure heart and loved children as if she had birthed them herself.
