Rosie Lee "Tea" Thompson Price entered into eternal rest at 6:30 am on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at West Jefferson Medic al Center. She was 96 years old.
Teaas born on December 4, 1917 to Eugeene and Alice Holloway Thompson in Bassfield, MS. She was one of three children.
Tea was a long-time resident of the Bogalusa area. As a young adult she met her husband, Louis Price. Two kinds were born from that union, Janie and Wilma Ray Price. She is also the mother of Mildred, Betty Jean, and J. W. (James) Peters.
tea as a young adult served as a head solosit in her Community Choir. She also enjoyed making homemade pastries and cakes for her famioly to enjoy.
She leave her memories to cherish to her two daughters, Mildren P. Mack of Marrero, LA, and Betty Jean Johnson of Duncan, OK; 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchikldren, 14 great-great grandchildren and ahost of other relatives.
P:redceeded in death by her parents, Eugene and Alice Thompson; a sister Mattie Lewis, a brother, Clenward Thompson; a daughter, Janie P. Harris; two sons, Wilma Ray Price and J. W. James Peters; two grandsons, Allen K. Mack and Mitchell Ray Wilson; and two granddaughters, Vanessa Johnson and Cartolyn Price.
