Robert Samuel Taylor was born March 21, 1958 to Walter Ray Taylor, Sr. and Mary Lee Taylor Dunn in Bogalusa, La.
Robert was a kind hearted person who believed in helping others. He was very handy, and took pleasure in helping others with mowing their lawn, fixing things around the house, but although at times he got stubborn, but he would always come back with a smile.
Although he had no children he loved his nieces, nephews and cousins as if they were his own. They share fund memories and laughter in which they will cherish.
Robert Taylor was preceded in death by his parents Walter Ray Taylor, Sr. and Mary Lee Taylor Dunn, one brother, Walter Ray Taylor, Jr. and stepfather Conel Dunn.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one grandmother Rosie Lee Grinstead of Monticello, MS; one sister, Shirley (TJ) Jordan of Magnolia, MS; two brothers, James (Sharon) Taylor of Selma, AL; Willie (Cassandra) Taylor of Varnado, La; eleven aunts: Delester (Eddie) Richards, Rozetta Matthews, Linda Johnson, and Ollie Jones all of Varnado, La.; Anna (Lynell) Smith of Gulfport, MS, Joe (Mose) Blockson, Hattie Hagan, Ruby Wilks, Elmon (John) Mims, Catherine Grinstead, Eloise Williams all of Chicago, IL; six uncles: Supt. Leslie (Joyce) Fields of Varnado, La; Mannie (Lula) Grinstead of Prentiss, MS; Tillman Grinstead, Elbert (Carolyn) Grinstead, Larry Grinstead all of Chicago, IL; Willie (Dorothy) Grinstead of Brookhaven, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
