Robert lee Knox was born January 17, 1937 to Mr. and Mrs. Alcee and Alma Milton in New Orleans, LA.

Robert drove cad many years for the Yellow Cab Co in New Orleans, LA, he later became a supervisor  driving and working at  Crescent Construction

Company in New Orleans, La  Robert Married Mrs. Gail Taylor and of that union came two children Kevin J. Knox and Kenya D. Knox.  Pawpaw moved to Bogalusa in the early 80's.  He joined St. Paul AME church under pastor Joseph Black.  In  1991 he joined Salter Chapel AME where he worked with the Sons of Allen and the Finance Committee.

Robert Lee Knox was preceded in death by his parents Alcee and Alma Milton, one sister Leila Dennison, a devoted friend Sister Cora C. Ishman, his stepsons; Donald Ishman, Gerald Ishman, and Robert Ishman.

He leaves to cherish; one son, Kevin (Brooke) Knox of Marietta, GA; one daughter, Kenya D. Lewis Knox of Harvey LA., One brother Jules Guidry of New Orleans, LA. Seven Step Children: Larry (Robin) Ishman of Greenlane PA, Sandra(John) Jones, Gloria (Curtis) Hughes, Michael (Tressie) Ishman, Edna (Darryl) Brown, Darleen Ishman, Lloyd (Tonya) Lewis.  His travel buddy Ernest Phillips of New Jersey and so many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
