PECOLA GREEN HARTLEY
Sister Pecola Green Hartley, was born July 2, 1927 to the late Rev. and Mrs. Henry Green, and departed this life on September 18, 2014. She was a native of Varnado, LA.
She lived and worked in Chicago, IL for many years and returned home and moved to Bogalusa, LA in the eighties.
She is survived by two sons: Jackie Fortenberry (Carrie) Bogalusa, LA & Glen Fortenberry (Mercedes) Longview, TX, five grandchildren, three great grand children, one sister, Christine Butler. A very special person, Laura Alexander and a host of relatives and friends.
Service will be Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Tree of Life Baptist Church. Viewing from 10am – 11am and funeral service at 11am, Rev. L. Magee officiating. Interments, Robinson Cemetery in Varnado, LA.
