Ollie Jane Banks Walker was born December 22, 1926 to Stella Brown in Hackley, La. Ollie B. Walker received her formal education at Central Memorial Elementary & High School in the city of Bogalusa. She furthered her education at Southern University at Baton Rouge, La. Ollie accepted Christ, as her Savior at an early age and was united with Second Baptist Church. Ollie Jean Banks was united in holy matrimony with Alfonso Walker on September 4, 1970 in Detroit, Michigan. Ollie loved gardening and working in her yard. She also loved serving and Arts & Crafts. Ollie Banks Walker departed this life on May 13, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfonso Walker, mother Stella Brown and a brother John C. Robinson. She leaves to cherish her memory special cousins Mrs. Dorothy Johnson, Mrs. Elaine Brown and Mrs. Mary Stewart of Bogalusa, La. Godson Terry Simmons Richard and wife Jerry Dean of Bogalusa, La. Numerous relatives and friends. A special friend Paul Bickham.
Visitation will be Friday, May 18 at Cook-Richmond from 2-6p.m.
Funeral Service 12p.m. Saturday, May 19 at Cook-Richmond Chapel.
