The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down on green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Mrs. Irma J. Curney was called home to glory at the age of 70, on September 17, 2024. She was born to the late Mr. Agdar Frazier and Mrs. Nancy Fraizer in Oxmoor, Alabama.
She went to Shady Baptist Church in Alabama where she was baptized under Rev. Burpo at the age of 12. She went to school in Alabama at Oxmoor Elementary thru Shade Valley High School until she moved to Bogalusa, LA, where she graduated from.
She will be FOREVER missed and loved by her family and friends. Irma was a kind person and to know her was a blessing. She left her mark on many people; anybody she met was not a stranger to. She was loving, sweet, kind, and would help anybody if she could.
Irma leaves to cherish her memories: Her three kids, Bobby Curney Jr., Karen Curney, and Melissa Morris; two grandchildren, Starday Curney and Ja'Karvis Curney; three- great-grandchildren, Tony Roberts III, Amir Curney, and Jace Fraizer; one brother, Darrien Fraizer Sr., two sisters, Lois Fraizer and Olanda Fraizer; one brother, Darrien Fraizer Sr., her Aunt Aldonia L. Hargrove; special nieces, Diane Parker and Nancy Parker; special nephews, Robert Parker, Derrick Parker, And Darrien Fraizer Jr., a bonus daughter Lanequia Scott; special friends, Rose and Tommy Bulter and a host of relatives and friends who loved her deeply. She will truly be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents "Father" Agdar Frazier,"Mother" Nancy Fraizer,"Son" Fredrick Fraizer, one grandchild, Florence K. Curney, her love until his death, Charles Magee, two sisters, Beverly Levi, Patricia Fraizer, her Aunt Helen Benjamin, a niece Ruby Parker and a nephew Levi Royal.
