Ms. Geraldine Moses

With profound sadness and heartfelt love, we announce the passing of Gerdine Moses, who departed this life on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the age of 65.

Born on November 13, 1960, to Samuel Earl Moses and Catherine Mingo Moses, Geraldine lived a life filled with love, strength, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family.  She was a caring mother, a proud grandmother, a devoted sister, and a loyal friend, whose warm heart and generous spirit touched everyone she met.

Geraldine was a dedicated and hardworking woman who worked multiple jobs throughout her life to provide for her children.  She was perhaps best known for her years of service with the City of Bogalusa, where she earned the respect and friendship of many through her strong work ethic and kind nature.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures.  She loved watching sports, especially cheering on her beloved New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers and she enjoyed listening to the Blues.  Above all she treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.  Her love, laughter, and strength will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Samuel Earl Moses and Catherine Mingo Moses, and her cherished son, Devon Moses.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving children, Catherine Moses, Kendall Moses, and Donald Moses; her adored grandchildren, Kendarias Moses, Akheia Moses, Elias Morris, and Ean Morris; her brothers, Samuel Moses, Sampson moses, Johnny Ray Moses, Gabe Moses, Jessie Moses, Ervin Crain, and Cristopher Crain; her sisters, Annie Lee Crain, Charlotte Crain, and Ivana Crain, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A Celebration of LIfe, honoring Geraldine will be held on Saturday, July 25,2026 at 1:00 p.m. at New Zion Missionary Batist Church in Angie, Louisiana.  Family and friends are invited to join together in celebrating her life, honoring her legacy, and sharing the cherished memories she leaves behind.

Although our hearts are filled with sorrow, we find peace in knowing that Geraldine's love, faith, and legacy will continue to live on through her family and all those lives she touched.  She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
