We celebrate the life of Aaron Laquintus Donnell "Meathead" Bickham born January 1,1988 and peacefully departed this life August 8, 2026 surrounded by family.
Aaron Laquintus Donnell Bickham, affectionately known as "Meathead," passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the age of 38. A lifelong resident of Bogalusa, Louisiana, Aaron was a man whose love for his family, his sports, and his love of learning, left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. Aaron never met a book he didn't want to open. His curiosity had no off switch and he carried an easy confidence that came from always wanting to know a little more than he did the day before. He loved watching sports, reading books and making sure his smile stayed perfect. And if you knew Aaron, you knew he was always up for a debate about anything, but nothing lit him up quite like his children, who were the center of his life.
Aaron was a 2006 graduate of Bogalusa High School and went on to further his education at Southeastern Louisiana University.
He is survived by his three children Jace, Jari and Jalaney Bickham; his father, Nicholas (Martina) Collins; his beloved aunts, Krystal Collins and Kiontonya Bickham who also helped rear him as a child; his beloved uncle Kelton Collins; his siblings, Deja'Nique and Christopher Collins, Felton and Darion Bickham and Mikrus Miller; his grandmother; Joelnette Collins, his grandfather, Monroe Collins, and his two special aunts, Lisa (Vernell) Jackson and Patrice Belton who reared him as a child; his special cousin Tony and Bridgette Bickham and a very special cousin/caregiver Brandi Bickham, whom he loved dearly; special friends who were like brothers to him, Quentin Sampson, James Keys, and Cordaro Levi; also a special person who he loved dearly Rhonda Johnson. a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, D'Shonda Bickhan; his grandmother; Deborah Bick-Martin, his grandfather, John Magee; his great grandmothers Doris Hill and Emma Bickham, and great grandfather Fessie Westbrook
