Michelle Re'Nee Burnett was born on June 6, 1969 in Slidell, LA to the late Cloyd Joseph Burnett and Leatha P. Brent. She made her transition from this life on Friday, November 25, 2016 from Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton, LA at the age of 47.

Michelle attended and graduated from Bogalusa High School in Bogalusa, LA. she did not meet any strangers. she would make you laugh and cry. she was always willing to help anyone who was in need of anything including help or assistance. She was a faithful member of the New Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. she loved music, her favorite song was "Purple Rain" by Prince. She enjoyed being around her family and friends.

Michelle leaves to celebrate, rejoice and mourn her transitions, Tracy Mingo; four children: Faizah Burnette, LaKence Burnette, Tracy Burnette and Yaluane Bullock; godchild, Miniya Bell; sisters: Tamika (Orlando) Lundie, Lakeishera Crumedy and Sandra Bradley Levi; stepfather, H. B. Brent; special friend, Jamie Butler, special nurse, Barbara Williams, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, family and friends.
