Marsh Lynn Cook Bridges age 52, born March 21, 1959 to Lula Mae Cook and the late Leon Porter in Bogalusa, La. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and care taker for over 25 years. She leaves to cherish memories of her life; her husband Ellis Bridges Jr. of Bogalusa, La.; her daughter Dominique (Carl) Moss of Bogalusa, La.; her son Jaleel Leon Bridges of Bogalusa, La; her mother Lula Mae Cook of Bogalusa, La.; her grandchildren, Passion Marie Lewis whom she raised until her passing, Kenneth "KJ" Keys Jr., Carlyn Renee Moss and Car'deja Burris all of Bogalusa, La.; five sisters, Shelia Cook, Linda Diane Porter of Bogalusa, La., Renita Cook who cared for her during her sickness and death, of Bogalusa, La. Jennifer (James) Quillen and Delores Porter of Houston, Tx:

six brothers, Bruce Cook and Corey (Loreal) Cook of Atlanta, Ga. Donald Nelson and Gerald (Jowandolyn) Nelson of Baton Rouge, La. Leon Porter of Hattiesburg, Ms. And Alex Porter of Houston, Tx.; her aunts Hazel (Ray) Causey, Juanita Cook of Los Angelos, Ca., Virginia Smith of Bogalusa, La. and Clettna Mae Davis of New Orleans, La. ;her uncles Lee Cook of Los Angelos, Ca., Willie Cook Jr. and Leroy Bridges of Bogalusa, La.; two special cousins, Cassandra Bickham and Darlean Myers both of Bogalusa, La.; a special LaQuandra (Victor) Robinson of Bogalusa, La.; a God son Rasheed Moss of Bogalusa, La. and three close friends, Gwendolyn (Lonnie) Magee, Tekeisha (John) Ard and Juanita (Jessie) Ladner all of Bogalusa, La. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Not to mention her extended family from Louisiana to California.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Porter, her grandparents Willie Cook, Sr. and Alberta Cook Matthews; her brothers Timothy Bickham and Johnny Cook; her sister Patrice Porter, her aunts Deola White, Ethel Mae Jackson and Helen Cook; her nephews Marlon Cook and Jamarion Ball and her friends Bill and Marie White.

Visitation will be Friday, July 29 from 2-7p.m. at Cook-Richmond
Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 30 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Officiating Rev. Dr. Tom Bailey, Jr.
