Mandy Marie "Hay BaeBae" Handy Fox, 62, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at University Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mandy was born on July 18, 1962, in Bogalusa,LA, to James Handy, Jr. and the late Ungil Handy. Mandy recieved her education in the New Orleans school system.
In 2012 Mandy married Tyrone Fox, Jr. and together they shared a journey filled with love. A dedicated member of the Friendship Church of God in Christ. Mandy later found spiritual solace within the City of Faith Church in Phoenix City, AL, where she embraced the teachongs of Pastor Micheal Brown.
Mandy's radiant spirit was defined by her passion for family, her contagious laughter, and a perpetual smile that graced her face. Known for her loving and selfless nature, she was a cherished mother and friend, always prioritizing the needs of others before her own. Those who knew Mandy were touched by her warmth and her legacy of compassion lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
Mandy was preceded in death by her mother, Ungil Handy; maternal grandparents, Julius and Lona Bickham and paternal grandparents James, Sr. and Inther Handy.
Mandy is survived by her three (3) children, Cornelius Handy of Chalmette, LA, Shontrelle Handy of Phoenix, AL and Ricky Handy of Columbus, GA; father, James (Michelle) Handy of Franklinton, LA; she also leaves behind ten (10) grandchildren, Malik, Malaki, Artasia, Leonard, La'Terion, Jerri, Justice, Nevaeh, Natalie, and Malaysia. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Shanika (Chris) Bell of Franklinton, LA; two nephews, Jamar and Derion. She also has a special Aunt, Jessie Handy of Franklinton, LA; a special cousin, Zaddie Bickham, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
