Louise Lawson Morris was born April 23, 1941 in Utica, Ms. to the late Bertha Lomax-Lawson and Henry Lawson, Sr. She was preceded in death by 10 of her siblings; Clarence, Percy, Albert Lee, Willie T., Henry, Jr., Addie Mae, Edith Nell, Deloris and Bertha Lee.
Her family moved to Bogalusa, La. in the year of 1958. Thereafter, she united with the Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. E.D. Burns, where she remained until her death. She served faithfully in the Missionary Society and Sunday School.
Louise leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Paul Morris; two sons, Rishard and Brishard Morris- all of Bogalusa, La; one daughter, Bobbie Fontenot and two granddaughters, Jessica and Jena Fontenot all of Marietta, Ga. One brother, Henry T. "Pap" (Shirley) Lawson of Flint, MI; two sisters-in-law, Edgie Peters, Angie, La; Ella Rose Morris, Chicago, IL; two brothers-in-law, Delaurel (Janice) Morris, Houston, Tx. and Anthony (Anita) Morris of Varnado, La.
Beloved best friend, Ella Taylor, Ellisville, Ms.; Special nephew and nieces, Edward Lee (Rose) Lawson, Flint, MI.; Sandra (Lawrence) Morris, Slidell, La. and Stacy Greenwood, Jackson, Ms. and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Servant of God well done; Thy warfares and toils of life is past. The battle is fought, the victory won and thou art crowned at last.
Visitation Wednesday, August 24 from 2-5 Family Hour 6-7 at Cook-Richmond. Funeral Service Thursday, August 25 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. A.J. Luter, Officiating.
