It is with great sorrow and heavy on the heart Malachi's relatives, friends and loved ones to which God has Malachi under the armor of his love and everlasting peace.  May God comfort us in our time of grief and pain.

Malachi is a son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle and cousin.  Malachi Lundy was born on March 20, 2007 in Lansing, Michigan and departed this life on May 20, 2024 in Atlanta, GA.

Malanchi attended Preparatory Academy in Marietta, GA, where he flourished in science and physical education.  Upon graduating, Malachi's plans were to obtain employment and later use funds gained from employment to assist him in becoming a game developer and business owner.  Malachi enjoyed football, basketball, and soccer, the latter of which he was excellent at.

Malachi had a big heart and a personality larger than life.  He   was very comedic, and at random times, one might catch him watching America's Funniest Home Videos.  He was very athletic and often signed up for 5k runs though out the city, some of which served philanthropic purposes.  Malachi loved being an uncle, having someone to look up to him and having an older brother.  He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family, hiking and taking vacations.  At a very young age, Malachi knew the meaning of his name, "messenger of God".  He also believed in Jesus and understood the power of prayer.

Malachi leaves to mourn his passing: his mother, Vanessa Lundy of Port Huron, MI, brother, Terrance Lundy of Michigan, sister, Cherise Lundy of Smyrna, Ga, nephew, Kerrell Lundy of Lansing, MI, as well as a host of other relative, friends and ones.

Though our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate the life of Malachi on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.  at Cook-Richmond & Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, LA
