Louise Russell was born in Bassfield MS, on December 14, 1953 to Vera Johnson and the the late Hop Russell.

Louise leaves her memories  to be cherished by, her mother; Vera Johnson, two sons, Charles (April) Russell of Gulfport, MS and Tony  Russell of Bogalusa, LA, nine grandchildren; Javodus Reese, Gabrielle Reese, Ezra Russell, Charles Braziel, Lajira Braziel, and Isaiah Russell all of Gulfport, MS, Charnise Russell, Cahmari Allen and Cameryn Allen of Bogalusa, LA one step grandson, LaDerrick Martin of Hattiesburg, Ms, one brother, Larry Russell and one sister; Geraldine Thompson of Bogalusa, LA, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hop Russell and four brothers, Willie James, Clint, Henry and Louis Thompson.
