Louis J. Moses,90 was born
July 24,1922.The first of 10 children to the late Rev. B.B.(Martha)Moses
He departed his earthly life
on June 19,2013,at 4:25A.M.Louis was married to Conway Wilson Moses for 61years.He retired from Chysler Motors of Detroit,Michigan
After retirement he and his wife returned to Bogalusa,La They became members of Mt.Zion M.B.Church of Varnado,La. Rev. Dr. A.S.Nelson was their pastor.Louis worked with the finance department at Mt. Zion for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife,his parents;three brothers;Felton, Andrew and Robert;and three sisters;Allie Mae,Delissa,and Hazel.
Louis leaves to cherish his memory,one brother;Rev.James H.Moses;two sisters,Helen(Gary)and Charanette.He has a large number of loving cousins and friends,more like sisters and brothers,and many devoted neices & nephews.
One very special niece and nephew,Carmen,Ashton and Andree Johnson,and a special friend,Eva Booner.
Visitation will be held Sunday,June 23,2013 from 2-6pm,Family Hour 6-7pm at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home Chapel.Funeral Services will be Monday,June 24,2013,11am at Mt. Zion M.B.Church of Varnado,La with Rev. Dr. A.S.Nelson,Officiating,Intermet B.B. Moses Memorial Park Cemetery.
