Linda M. Fields Little departed this life on Dec 26, 2018. She was the eighth child born to the late Elder Leslie Fields Sr. and Mary Moses Fields Peters. She received her education in Washington Parish and attended Sullivan Vo-Tech where she received her degree in nursing. She also attended Hinds Community College in Raymond Miss, for Registered nursing.
Linda was a faithful member of Holy Temple C.O.G.I.C., under the leadership of her brother Supt Leslie Fields Jr. She served faithfully in many offices. Linda was a women with wisdom. She was a phenomenal cook. She sung in the choir, was on the usher board, worked with the sunshine band and was a Sunday School teacher. She was an interior decorator and a floral designer.
Linda was a special, remarkable woman. She touched so many people's lives. She would help anyone who needed her. She delivered charity community boxes to whoever needed her to. She also would give anyone a ride wherever they needed to go.
Linda was wed to Louis Magee. Two children were born to that union. Later, she married dana Little and to this union two children were born.
Linda leaves to cherish her memories: four children, Sheri L. Fields of Jackson, Miss; Kelvin(Shonda) Magee of Vicksburg, Miss; Derrick Little and Mary M. Little of Varnado; Four granddaughter, one special who she raised Dariana Greely, Princess Jenkins, Kelona Magee, Lanise Magee and two grandsons, Jerry Jenkins and Rozzie Scott and one great-grandson.
She is survived by one loving sister, Delester (Eddie) Richard, devoted; one loving brother, Supt Leslie (Missionary Joyce) Field of Varnado; special friends, Gloria Jefferson, Elaine Morris, Earnestine Bell and Bobby Jean Robinson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and one aunt, Evie Fields of Bogalusa.
She was preceded in death by mother and father, Elder Leslie Fields Sr and Mary Moses Fields Peters; sisters, Mary Dunn, Mae Ella Williams, Gladys Moore, Rosezetta Matthews; and two brothers, Lavores Fields and Daniel Charles Fields.
