With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Letha Brent, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and cherish friend. Letha departed this life on May 13, 2026, at the age of 75.
Born on August 18, 1950 in Oakvale, Ms. Born the daughter of Eugene Crumedy and Lillie B. Bridges. She survived by her two daughters Sandra Bradley and one godchild Jh'Marion Bickham. Six grandchildren Faizah Burnett, La'Kenca(Jonathan) Bickham, Tracy Burnett, Dorrien Burnett, Jh'Nashia Bickham, Kingston Burnett, Richard Warren, Jh'Marion Bickham and Iceland Burnett.
She also survived by two sisters Peggy Ann(Alvin) Jones and Mary Bell. Two brothers Charles Bridges and Jerry(Nicole) Parnell. And a host of nieces and nephews, 3 special nieces Katrina Hilol, Gizelle Malone and Seletha Bell and special cousin Dorothy Brent.
She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene Crumedy and Lillie B. Bridges and stepdad Clifton Green. Her husband H.B. Brent for 32 loving years. One daughter Michelle Burnett, two brothers Robert Crumedy and Clifton Green Jr, one special aunt Thelma Bridges. Letha was a light in every room she entered. Her life was defined by care-care for her family.
Above all, Letha was a proud and loving mother to her three children, who were her greatest joy and accomplishment. Her strength, warmth, and guidance will forever live on through them.
Letha will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her kind soul, and her unwavering faith. She touched countless lives and leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and resilience.
She is survived by her three beloved children, her parents, siblings, extended family, friends, and all those whose lives were made better by knowing her.
