In 1979. Leroy moved back to Bogalusa. He worked for the Bogalusa Sawmill but permanently injured his arm and could no longer work. In his earlier years he lived life to the fullest while also reaching out to members of his neighborhood to assist them whenever they needed help. He insisted that he was uncle or grandfather to so many children that he affectionally named three of them. His passion was music, playing domino's, horseshoes, and drinking coca cola's. His big smile and laughter will be missed by many people. Go get your rest Tamp, you deserve it.
