"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the Death of his saints" Psalms 116:15

Leon Stanley Nelson Sr. was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana to the late Leon Porter, Sr. and Gwendolyn Nelson.

He was a 1989 graduate of Bogalusa High School.  He Also attended Grambling State University.  Here he met nd later married the former Princetta Barfield.  To this union a son was born.  Leon worked in the oil industry for over 25 years  and was ultimately promoted to District Manager.  He also received many accolades and awards during his tenure with his career.
