Longtime resident and seamstress of Bogalusa, Louisiana. Faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she taught beginner Sunday school for sixty years. Loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Passed peacefully at The Guest House of Slidell, Louisiana. Survived by daughter, Lisa; son, Roy (Francis), four granddaughters; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; one great-grandson; niece, Louise (Chita) White of Detroit, Michigan; sister-in-law, Carrie Magee of Bogalusa; a very special great niece, Renee D. White of Novi, Michigan, several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Thursday, May 9, 2013 Visitation 9:00 a.m.and celebratory services begin at 11:00 am at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, 444 Elliott, Bogalusa; Rev. Christopher Matthews, officiating. Final arrangements entrusted to: Cook-Richmond Funeral Home, 638 Columbia Street, Bogalusa, Louisiana. Interment, Bogalusa Cemetery
