I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course. I kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord will judge me and others that have followed his word.

Lena Mae McKenzie was born on April 20, 1947 to Samuel and Mary McKenzie, 6 sibling came to live with her sister Christine Magee.

Lena will be surely missed by all who knew her. Lena was kindhearted and a loving woman who treated everyone with love and kindness and respect.

Lena was preceded in death by Samuel and Mary McKenzie(Parents) a son Jasper Earl McKenzie and 13 sisters and brothers; George, Christine Magee, Frances Pittman, Dorothy, Annie Mae, Samuel Jr, Alma Lee, James, M.L.(Butch),Gene, Ted Gibbs, Willie(Duke) and Jerry (Bay).

Lena loved children and took care of her nephew Johnny McKenzie Lena is aunt to Jewl, Mary Jewl, Leroy and Roy.

She is survived by a host of family members, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-great nephews. Lena has wonderful friends and nurses too.
