Justin Deshawn Patrick was born to Cassandra Lee Patrick and John Windell Cutrer on October 28, 2006 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. He was called home at Hoods Memorial Hospital in Amite, La on April 21, 2020. Justin was a loving, caring, and respectful young man. He accepted Christ at a very young age. He attended Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Roseland, LA along side his Nana and Papa. He even often attended Big Zion A.M.E Church with his best friend, Devin and song in their Youth Choir on Youth Sundays. Justin was a very athletic young man. He excelled in Basketball and Football. He would often express his love for his favorite college football team, the University of Alabama Crimson Tide football program. Sports was not the only passion Justin had he also excelled in Academics as well. He was a honor student and received multiple awards each academic school year for his great accomplishments in the classroom. Outside of sports and the classroom his other passions included but not limited to horses, four wheelers, and spending time with his family and friends. Justin always greeted everyone he came across with a big smile. He was loved by many and will truly be missed.
Justin leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, Cassandra Patrick of Baton Rouge, LA, his father, John (Brittany) Cutrer of Hammond, LA, 3 sisters, Layla and Makayla Smith of Baton Rouge, LA, and Skylar Cutrer of Mt. Hermon, LA., his grand parents, Willie Mae and Windell Cutrer of Roseland, LA, 3 great grand parents, Mary Patrick of Amite, LA, Shirlene Dyson and Celestine Cutrer both of Kentwood, LA, 5 uncles, Raymond, John, and Joshua Patrick all of Amite, LA, Brandon (Lekita) Leonard and Christopher (Lashun) Miller both of Baton Rouge, LA, one aunt, Wendy Cutrer of Amite, LA, a God father, Lamarcus Simmons of Kentwood, LA, and a host of great aunts, cousins, and lots of friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Thelma (LeeLee) Patrick, his great grandfathers, Joe Boy Patrick Sr and Alphonse Dyson, his two cousins, Braylin Patrick and Joshua Washington, a great uncle in law, James McFadden as well as other family members and his best friend, Devin Selders.
