Bro. Julius Bolton, son of the late Sis. Lennie Ruth Vinsont and the late Bro. Jessie Armstrong, was born on August 5, 1955 along with his twin sister Julia Mae Watterson in Bogalusa, LA.
On January 4, 2019 the Lord whispered well done my sweet servant and Julius departed the earthly end of a well loved personality.
At an early age Julius united with St. Paul AME Church but became a member of Doughty Chapel AME Church in his latter years.
Julius lived a happy, loving and caring life. Julius would help anyone and give you the shirt from his back and from this he gained lots of friends he considered as family. Julius served in United States Army from 1974-1978. Julius was employed with Dependable Glass for over 15 years.
Jules leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Monya Ward of Mobile Alabama; Two sisters Evangelist Wilma(Elder Horace) Corish of Stockton, CA; Geraldine Barnes of Bogalusa, LA; two brothers, Minister Michael(Ella) Starks Sr of Jackson, Mississippi and Wilbert Barnes of Bogalusa ,LA, a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
Julius was preceded in death by his father Jessie Armstrong, his mother Lennie Ruth Vinsont, his twin sister Julia Mae Watterson; His brother Minister Johnnie Barnes, his uncle Ray Bolton, Frank Bolton and aunts; Shellie May, Dorothy Nelson, Betty Harris Brown and Ernesa Abrams.
