"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hill, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the lord, which made heaven and earth.''Psalm 121:1-2
God sent more love into the world on august 2, 1951 when Janice Marilyn was born to the late Oscar and Geneva Peyton. With devotion and love, she joined in wedlock with Willie Buckhanan for 46 years. To their union, two blessing were given to them, Sonia Latief and Christopher Aaron Buckhanan.
Janice was a graduate of Central Memorial High School and furthered her education at Grambling State University, she majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Math. Furthermore, expanding her education she also studied in Reading for the Disadvantage with the Grambling College Teacher's Corps at Byrd Jones Lame School in Monroe, La for three years.
Seeking the Lord's guidance, she asked God for a school where she could make a difference. She was hired at Enon Elementary School for 33 years, receiving the Teacher of the Year Award twice.
