James Gilbert "Doc" Williams was born on April 05, 1946 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Dr. Richard Pericles Williams Sr. and Grace Lorriane Williams.

On Thursday August 13, 2020, at the age of 74 God called his child "Doc" to his eternal home.  He was educated in the New Orleans public school system.

He served in the United States Army.  He then married Dottie Jean "Sis" Henry and from their union of 53 years, they had their son Carey LeWayne Williams.  James had another son Paris Hutcherson.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dottie Jean Williams, son Carey LeWayne Williams, and a brother Richard P. Williams

James leaves to mourn his passing his siblings, grandkids, great grandkids, one aunt and a host of family and friends.
