Irma Dean Singleton was born on October 5, 1938, to the late Willie and Mae Bell Singleton.

She departed this life on December 21, 2021, at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

She joined Little Union Baptist Church at an early age.  She later united with New Hope Baptist Church and finally with Shady Grove Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing and treasure her memories, one nephew, who she raised as her son; Joseph Brock of New Orleans, Louisiana, two sisters; Earline Johnson and Louise Singleton of New Orleans, Louisiana, one brother; Oscar Singleton, a devoted niece and nephew; Larry Singleton of Kentwood, Louisiana and Tammy Brumfield of Franklinton, Louisiana.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
