Mrs. Idella Morris Roberts was born March 14, 1953 in Bogalusa, La. to the late O.C. and Lillie Mae Morris. She passed away peacefully on September 1, 2012 at her home. She was educated in the Washington Parish School and later employed by the LSU Nutrition Program. She married Hersey Lee Roberts, Jr. And to the union four children were born, Hersey Lee (Kaunetha) Roberts III, Lavada (Derron) Sizemore, Tamika Toler, Dameon ((Ingrid) Roberts.
She joined New Zion Baptist Church at an early age. Later she married and joined Live Oak United Methodist Church where she became a faithful choir member until her illness, she had a loving and giving spirit and a heart for all people. God was always first in her life alone with well devoted time to her family, especially her husband, children, grandchildren.

Douglas (Carolyn) Morris of Bogalusa, La. Five sisters: Eva Morris, Claudette Johnson both of Varnado, La. Laura (Randy) King. Toni (John) Mark both of Bogalusa, La. Evelyn Graves of Picayune, Ms. a Mother-ln-Law Roxie Roberts of Angie, La. Six brother-in-laws: Willie H. (Tina) Roberts, Sr. Of Baton Rouge, La. Vernice (Janice) Roberts of Pittsburg, California. Kenneth W. (Clorinda) Roberts, Sr. Of Bogalusa, La. Michael C. Roberts, Sr. Of Lufkin, Tx. Oliver W. (Deborah) Roberts, Larry P. (JoAnna) Roberts, Sr. Both Angie, La. Four sister in laws: Bernell (Douglas) Jones of Angie, La. Maxine (James Sr.) Giles of Lufkin, Tx. Rev. Gaynell Simon of Baton Rouge, La. Lucretia (Kenneth) Pope of Huntsville, Al. She was preceded in death by O.C. and Lillie Mae Morris, One brother Curbie L. Morris. One Sister Ella Mae Hall, One niece Danica T. Morris

Visitation will be Friday, sept 7 from 2-5p.m. Wake Service 6-8p.m. at Live Oak U.M.C. Funeral Service will be Saturday, Sept. 8 at 2p.m. at Live Oak. Interment Live Oak Cemetery. Rev. Terrence August. Officiating.
