Obituary

Howard James "Cowboy" Gholar, age 77, a native of Silver Creek, Ms. And a resident of Bogalusa, died Tuesday, July 6 at his residence. He is survived by three daughters, Felicia (Larry) Jefferson, of Bogalusa, La.; Pam Gholar and Rosalyn Gholar of Chicago, Il. One son, Jessie Gholar of Chicago, IL.; Two sisters, Margie Robinson of Chicago, IL. And Clotiel Longino of Los Angelos, Ca.; sister in law Alice Gholar of Bogalusa, La.; Four brothters, J.C. (Gaynale) Gholar of Oakland, Ca., C.J. (Annie) Gholar of Silver Creek, Ms., Joe Louis (Marie) Gholar of Silver Creek, Ms. And Bobby Ray Barnes of Houston, Tx.; seventeen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lela and Elmer Gholar; his wife Onzile Gholar, one brother, Elmer Lee "E.L" Gholar, Jr; and one sister, Martha Jefferson.
