Obituary
Glyn D. Cotton, was born to Glenn Cotton and Dorothy J. Cotton on June 25, 1964, he departed this life on Tuesday, February 22, 2011.
Glyn received his High School diploma from Varnado High School. He joined New Zion Baptist Church at an early age and attended when his health allowed.
At the age of nine, Glyn suffered from a kidney disease which caused him to rely on dialysis for much of his life. He has endured many surgeries and hospital stays, but it never dampered his spirit or his smile.
Glyn was united in marriage to Vicky Kirkland to this union a daughter was born; India Cotton. Later in life, he united in marriage to Katherine Sam and to this union two children were born; Asia and Christopher Cotton.
He was preceded in death by a brother, grandparents, Otha & Nettie Foster; David & Bonnie Mae Cotton.
He leaves to cherish his memories, three children India Cotton of Bogalusa, La.; Asia and Christopher Cotton of Bush, La.; Father Glenn Cotton of Bogalusa, La.; a devoted Mother, Dorothy J. Cotton of Varnado, La.; brother, Devon R. Cotton of Varnado, La.; sister, Barbara (Reginald) Taylor of Arlington, Tx; four grandsons, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
