Frenchie Mae Foster was born to Eunice Groce on February 25,1948 in Lincoln Alabama.
Frenchie received all of her education in Lincoln, Alabama. She moved to Los Angeles, California in the 60's. She retired from Hughes Aircraft. She was a member of New Congregational Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. L.M. Jones, where she was a member of the choir.
In 2004 Frenchie moved to Angie, Louisiana with her husband Andrew and oldest granddaughter Quanita. She didn't let this new city stop her from finding her way around. Frenchie and Quanita (Shug) would jump in the car and go, and before she knew it, she knew her way to Covington, Franklinton and Mississippi.
Frenchie was a people person and would talk to anybody.
She loved people! She also gained employment in her hometown. She worked for Dirt Cheap and Pride & Hope.
Frenchie loved her family. She loved being a grandmother to her eight grand daughters and a great grandmother to her eight great grandchildren.
Frenchie leaves to cherish memories: her husband; Andrew Foster, three sons; Michael, Anthony and Mario (Wendell), one brother, Jerry Lane,one sister; Hazel, eight grand daughters; Quanita, Lanae, Zoe, Xia'mor, Mii'Lia, Mii'Aisa, Jontay, D'iajah, and Mi'Dareon, one special daughter-in-law, Tanya (Anthony), a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Eunice, a daughter, Belinda Faye, sisters; Floretta, Joyce, Maize, and Doris, brothers; Charles (Bill Bo), Dallas, Joe, James, Julian and Melvin.
