Freddie James Buckley Sr. was born on January 8, 1944 in Bogalusa,  LA to the late Robert Buckley Sr. and Velma (Jackson) Buckley.  He departed this life Tuesday November 26, 2091 with his wife and daughter by his side.

Freddie attended Central Memorial High School.  He spent his early years in Chicago ILL.  He retired from Skokie Valley Laundry Industry in Chicago.  He returned to Bogalusa in October 2015.  Freddie attended Christ Way Ministries Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Marilyn Buckley of Bogalusa LA; two daughters; Yolanda (Dexter) Jenkins-Bryan of Chicago ILL; Fannie Buckley McCoy of Bogalusa LA and one son; Freddie Buckley Jr of Chicago ILL; three sisters Audrey Price and Beverly(Hubert) Anderson of Chicago ILL; Laura Spurling of San Diego CA; nine Grand-children LaKeeta Buckley of Baton Rouge LA; Hollywood Buckley of Bogalusa; Melissa Glen of Chicago ILL Nyjai Muhammad Of Baltimore MD;Imani Buckley, Freddy Buckley ll; Kelvin Armstead, Lozenzo Bryant and Freddie Buckley lll all of Chicago ILL and three great grand children whom she adored Chaston Buckley of Baton Rouge, LA; Jailyn Buckley and Chris Johnson of Bogalusa LA one aunt Melvena Jackson of Bogalusa LA sister-in-law Laura C. Buckey  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Freddie was preceded in death by his parents; Robert & Velma Buckley, a sister Helen Haynes and two brothers, Robert Buckley Jr. and Elbert Buckley Sr.
