Evelyn Taylor Warren, 82, a resident of Bogalusa, LA and the wife of the late Walter Warren, Sr. passed away peacefully at Rest Haven Nursing Home on Sunday, March 22, 2020.

Mrs. Evelyn was born in Sandy Hill, LA to  the late Mr. & Mrs. (Annie Lee Huff) Murray Taylor of Sunny Hill, LA.  She was a member of Salter Chapel AME Church under the leadership of Pastor Willie Gautier.  She was a retired worker of the Bogalusa Daily News.

She leaves to cherish her memories:  Her daughters, Leatrice Warren of New Orleans, LA; Jacqueline Warren of Rosenberg,TX; one son Rickey (Stephanie) of Bogalusa,LA; one sister Martha Taylor Wilkerson of Picayune, MS; Ten Grandchildren: Biyaka (Lionel) Williams of Gonzales, LA, Dammon (Altondra) Warren Sr., of Abita Springs, LA, Corey (Janice) Warren  of Pearl River, LA Jaime (Charles) Buckhanan of Richmond TX, Jonathan (Julia) Andrews of Chalmette, LA, Tiffany & Asley Willard of Memphis, TN, Myleeza Mingo of Houston, Tx, Darriona & Darilyn Lee of Bogalusa, LA; Twenty great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; a hoist of nieces, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three children:  Mr. walter Warren Jr., Leattrice Tina Streeter and Christine Warren Willlard; sister  Geneva T. Brumfield, Laura T. Johnson, Alice Taylor, and LeeAnn T. McGee; brothers, Willie Taylor, James Taylor, Edward, Taylor, Hollis Taylor, BobbieRay Taylor.
