Bro. Ernest "Pena" Davis Jr. was born December 6, 1963 to the late Ernest Davis Sr. and Nicy Bickham Davis.
He joined church a Lear Hill COGIC at an early age. He attended school at Franklinton High School. He was a dedicated truck driver and mechanic for over 30 years. When he was not driving trucks he spent his time gardening, working on tractors and riding his four wheeler. He was also a loving husband and father to his wife and six beautiful children and grand children. All it took was one phone call and he was there no matter what the obstacle was.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Michelle Riley Davis, four daughters; Porcha Riley Sims (Reginald), of Dallas TX, Jasmine Davis, Franchesca Davis, Jayla Davis all of Mt. Herman LA., Patrick Davis of Mt. Hermon LA and Ernest Davis III of Covington, LA. His mother Nicy Davis of Clifton, LA. He had six sister, Deborah Davis, Camilla Davis, and Tina Davis Donaldson (Ray) all of Rochester, NY, Betty Green (Jerry) of Homer, LA Joyce Kemp (Vince) of Varnado, LA, Priscilla Magee of Slidell, LA, Two Brothers Tony Davis of Franklinton, LA and Vince Davis of Homer, LA. He also leaves mother in law Helen Riley of Abita Springs, LA He had five brother-in-laws; Joe Ladner of Slidell, LA. W. C. Ladner (Jerrie) and Brain Riley both of Lacombe, LA., Michael Riley (Allie) of Madisonville, LA., and Fennie Riley of Mt. Herman, LA.; Three grandchildren Avery and soon to be Avia Sims and An'Drez LeBlanc. A host of Aunts, Nieces, Nephews and other relatives and friends. He also had one Godsister that he loved dearly, Kezelle Warren. He was preceded in death by his father Ernest Davis Sr. his grandparents Elisha Davis Sr. and Ernestine Davis, Ed Bickham and Hynethia Bickham.
