Edward (Pippy) Smith

Edward Smith entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the age of 60.

He was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Kentwood, Louisiana for the majority of his life.

In his younger years he was  a member of Fellowship of Sunlight COGIC and in his adult years be became a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

Edward was the son of the late Leslie Charles and Mamie Nadine Smith and was raised by the late Adolph and Rosemary Ross.

He was brother to Dorothy (Bernell-Deceased) Henderson, Bobby (Regina), Walter (Rachelle), Gloria and Rosemary Smith and the late Royce(Tito) Smith, Gerald Johnson and Irma Lee Mitchell.

He Is also survived by his godchild, Bobby Watkins, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Coleman Family, especially Kim and Na who were his caregivers during the last months of his life.
