Bro. Easaw Garrett was born in Folsom, La. September 29,1935 to the late Valina and Joe Abraham Garrett.
He was educated in Rosenwald School. He worked for the Delta Pine Hauling Co., Jim Wheat General Construction, Jack Forbes, Sandy Hook Mississippi, and Washington Parish School Board.
At a early age he joined Payne Chapel A.M.E Church in Folom, La. By the leadership of Rev. W.L. Marshall later he joined Pilgrim Rest under the leadership of Rev. Ivy Williams.
He was married to Ella Spines in which they had one son Luby Bickham. We later me and married Emma Morris September 4, 1983. They had four children when his home burned ,he moved to Baton Rouge to live with his daughter can a son-in-law Freddie Jefferson where he remained until his death.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 24 from 2-6 Family Hour 6-7 at Cook-Richmond
Funeral Service will be Friday,November 25 at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Rev. Ivey Williams, Officiating. Interment Dillon Cemetery
