Bro. Easaw Garrett was born in Folsom, La. September 29,1935 to the late Valina and Joe Abraham Garrett.
He was educated in Rosenwald School. He worked for the Delta Pine Hauling Co., Jim Wheat General Construction, Jack Forbes, Sandy Hook Mississippi, and Washington Parish School Board.
At a early age he joined Payne Chapel A.M.E Church in Folom, La. By the leadership of Rev. W.L. Marshall later he joined Pilgrim Rest under the leadership of Rev. Ivy Williams.
He was married to Ella Spines in which they had one son Luby Bickham. We later me and married Emma Morris September 4, 1983. They had four children when his home burned ,he moved to Baton Rouge to live with his daughter can a son-in-law Freddie Jefferson where he remained until his death.

Matthew (Linda Jean Matthews of Hammond, La, A sister-in-law Lela Spikes of Bogalusa, J- Deahoun sincere minis of Baton, Rouge La. Brother- in- law Matthew Burlles (Bemester of Jackson, Ms. Daughter-in-law Sidney Gail Bickham of Angie, La . Former son-in-law John Wesley (Rita Hawthore of Amite, La. Avery, Special nieces, Irma Martin of Angie, La
Grandchildren 35, 38 Great Grandchildren Host of Great Grandchildren, nieces
,nephews, cousins other Relatives & Friends two little dogs Chloe & Precious He was precided in death by his parents, Joe & Valina Garrett. 1st wife Ella Spikes Garrett 2nd wife Emma Morris Morris Garrett daughters Marie Warren, Sons, Luby Bickham & Fredrick Lewis, 2 Grandchildren Andre & Williams C. Morris Jr. great-granddaughters Kearia Laurie & brothers Elijah, Daniel & St. Paul Garrett.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 24 from 2-6 Family Hour 6-7 at Cook-Richmond
Funeral Service will be Friday,November 25 at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Rev. Ivey Williams, Officiating. Interment Dillon Cemetery
