Obituary

Brother Donald Williams was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana on December 17, 1937, to the late Arcel and Lillie Mae Williams.

He graduated from Central Memorial High School.  He then went on to Southern University until he was drafted into the United States Army.  He was a faithful active member of Salter Chapel AME Church until his health declined.  Brother Williams was employed at Gaylord Box Plant until he retired on May 1, 2000 ,after 36 years. Brother Donald's legacy of love, laughter, and endless support for his family will continue to inspire those who carry memories of him in their hearts and minds forever.  His generosity and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Donald leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife of 60 years, Carolyn Williams; two daughters, Donnia Williams, Evette Hewitt (Robert); and one son Darren Williams, all of Bogalusa, Louisiana.  Also, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Brothers and sisters:  Arlene Durham (Archie) of Houston, TX; Brenda Burris, Kenneth Williams, and Terry Pigott, all of Bogalusa, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arcel and Lillie Mae Williams; grandparents LeRoy and Tempie Williams; siblings Carrie Hicks and Charles Williams, and son James Brock (Mann).
